Mariah Butler
Practice Manager
As the Practice Manager at Refine Vein Center, Mariah brings over a decade of experience in healthcare and medical administration, combining her clinical knowledge with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Pacific University. Her advanced education and hands-on experience allow her to lead with both precision and compassion, ensuring every patient feels seen, supported, and confident in their treatment journey.
Mariah is known for her ability to build genuine connections with patients and her dedication to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment at the clinic. From coordinating seamless care to guiding patients through the insurance process, she’s involved in every step to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
Originally from Ripon, California, Mariah now calls Tennessee home, where she enjoys life with her husband and three young children. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her traveling to different parts of the world, taking a nice nap, or cheering on her children at their sporting events. She’s passionate about helping people feel their best – inside and out – and takes great pride in being part of a team that makes a real difference in patients’ lives.
Rodica Pelle is a highly experienced Registered Vascular Technologist with over two decades of expertise in vascular ultrasound. A graduate of Carnegie Institute in Troy, Michigan, Rodica has been ARDMS-certified since 2006 and specializes in vascular imaging, including arterial, venous, abdominal, and cerebrovascular studies.
For 17 years, Rodica practiced in Michigan, collaborating with various specialists such as vascular surgeons and neurologists. She performed advanced vascular Doppler studies and served as the Technical Director of vascular labs at multiple facilities, successfully leading them through IAC accreditation.
Since relocating to Franklin, Tennessee in 2022, Rodica has been the Lead Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, working alongside Dr. Reynolds. At Refine Vein Center, she performs comprehensive venous ultrasounds, vein mapping, and assists in minimally invasive procedures including radiofrequency ablations and sclerotherapy, helping patients find relief from varicose veins and related symptoms.
Originally from Romania, Rodica is married to her husband, Romeo. Together, they have four married daughters and six grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with Romeo for ministry, spending quality time with her family, reading, and taking peaceful outdoor walks.

Kayla Boothroyd

Kayla Boothroyd is a dedicated Registered Vascular Specialist with a strong background in vascular ultrasound. A 2020 graduate of the Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound in Phoenix, she began her career with a leading vein clinic, where she traveled across Arizona performing venous insufficiency imaging and assisting in ultrasound-guided procedures.
Driven by a passion for helping patients manage and overcome chronic venous disease, Kayla has continued to focus her career in vein care. In late 2024, she relocated to Tennessee and joined Refine Vein Center as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist. Since December 2024, she has brought her expertise and patient-centered care to the Columbia and Franklin communities.
Kayla currently lives in Columbia, Tennessee, with her fiancé. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and caring for her many beloved pets.
